Apparel

What are the care instructions for shirts, sweaters, hoodies, etc?
Turn your garment inside out before washing. This helps protect the transfer on the front! Machine wash in cold or cool water, with like colours.
While your shirt will survive the dryer, it needs to be at LOW heat. For best results, I recommend either laying your items flat to dry, or hanging them to dry. Prolonged exposure to medium and heat will cause the adhesive and the vinyl to break down. Do not iron the garment, dry clean, or use fabric softeners or bleach!

Earrings

Are your earrings hypoallergenic?
The only TRUE "hypoallergenic" metal out there is titanium. While I do offere titanium for those with super-sensitive ears, every pair of earrings I make and/or design will work wonderfully with those with sensitive ears!
What kind of metal are your earrings?
If you've got sensitive ears, do not worry! All of my earrings are either surgical grade 316L stainless steel, 304 stainless steel, or a nickel-free alloy!

Beauty Bags

How do I wash them if I get them dirty?
All printed beauty bags are machine washable! The denim lining in the beauty bags (medium and large) may bleed a little bit during the first wash, so wash with like colours! This shouldn't be an issue unless the design has a lot of white on it. However, I've washed several and had no issues. If you use cold water, it will help.
Lay flat to dry. If you accidently put it in the dryer, it's not the end of the world. Just know that the denim lining will shrink a little bit and wrinkle!

Mittens

Are your mittens lined with fleece?
Nope - because they don't need it! All of my mittens are WOOL-FREE... Which means they aren't itchy. Which means they do not need a lining of any kind! Crocheted with a bulky yarn, these bad boys are thick, soft and sooo warm. The mittens old great grandma used to make back in the day were made with itchy wool, therefore they needed some type of lining to make them comfortable to wear! But because I don't use wool, there's no need for fleece. And I promise you, they're really warm without it.
What happens if my mittens get dirty>
Welcome to the club. Wool free = no shrinkage with washing... so you can machine wash + dry them... just turn them inside out beforehand, wash with like colours and lay flat to dry or tumble dry on low!
They will not shrink or stretch in the wash. The ONLY time mine "change" size... is if I get them wet in the snow and spend a ton of time playing while they're wet. But it's super easy to get them to go back to their original size = just give them a wash!
Okay so what's up with the sizing?
My mittens are like the jeans from the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants - my medium fits everyone. I dont know why, it just happens. I suppose it's magic.
But if by chance you find the measurements might seem a bit small, it's all good! The more you wear the mittens, the more they stretch to fit your hand and all that jazz. If you're measurements are way different than my medium, you'll want to order a custom pair! Just search for "Custom Mittens" in the search bar and it will take you to the listing with all of the information you will need about how to measure your hands for the PERFECT fit!
What colour should I pick?
Okay so here's a fun fact for you: my mittens will outlast whatever jacket you're trying to match them to. My advice - pick the colours that jump out at you and make you feel joy! Whether its a classic neutral or a pop of bright & eye catching colours, I've got something for everyone!
Do you have other sizes?
You bet! Each RTS listing will have a size listed in the description, or you can use the size chart from the item page to select a custom size!

Beanies

I'm still editing this section... but right now it's a future Rachael problem so just scroll on by!
What size should I order?
Fun fact, the only difference between kid and adult beanies... is the length! I make my beanies so that as the kiddos grow, the beanie can "grow" with them too!
Slouchy beanies will have a little bit of a slouch. If it says SUPER slouchy... it will have more slouch!
Beanie Size Guide:
FIND THE LENGTHS AND GO FROM THERE
Newborn: fit 0-6m
Small:
Medium: Fits youth 99% of adults, with a little bit of slouch! When I take a custom order, I usually ask the age of the person the beanie is for and go from there!
Large: Same

Hand-painted Coffee Mugs

**Currently Sold out - More coming soon!*

Are your hand-painted mugs dishwasher safe?
The hand-painted mugs are not dishwasher safe. while the dishwasher may not completely destroy the artwork, the high temperatures will break down the protective coating, which will expose the art to the high temps, high pressure water and chemicals from the detergent used.
Hand-painted mugs should be hand-washed only!
Printed mugs are dishwasher safe! Not sure which one you've got? Let me know and I'll make sure you have the right instructions for the right mug!
