The fire situation in AB, SK and MB is devastating, and has hit so close to home. Literally.

In the last week, several close families and friends have had to evacuate their communities, leaving everything behind.

And in the last 24 hours, three of those families have already lost everything, and that number is only going to rise.

Earlier this week, Rachel, the best friend with the same name, approached me with the idea to do a fundraiser much like one she had supported in 2019 when Australia was facing the most catastrophic wildfire season in it’s herstory.

Her family has been directly affected by the fires in both SK and MB.

And like many of you out, we want to help out. So we came up with these designs, used some of my landscape art inspired by the prairie provinces, and decided to make some items that we thought would help us raise some money to help!

Please note that none of the art pieces include any resemblance to fire or flames. They’re early sunrise vibes.

A portion of the profits from ALL sales will be donated towards purchasing essentials for the growing number of evacuees from many communities across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Extra funds raised will be donated to organizations that support these communities, along with the committee that are supporting evacuees. These will be announced later, and proof of donation will be provided and publicly available!

And to all of you, Rachel and I thank you so much for your contribution to this fundraiser! Whether it be from making a purchase, forwarding an e-mail, sharing a social media post, or supporting the fundraising efforts in any other way. Everything we do makes a positive difference in some way.
